Police release e-fit image of man who assaulted 27-year-old Colburn woman

North Yorkshire Police are appealing to the public for information to assist in identification of a man who entered a 27-year-old woman’s home in Colburn and assaulted her.

At around 7.30pm on Tuesday 23 August 2016,  the victim was sitting in the lounge of her house in Beechwood Grove with the rear patio doors of the property open. A man then entered the property via the open doors and upon confirming the identity of the woman – he grabbed her by her hair and punched her twice in the face, causing facial injuries. He then left the house via the back garden.

The man is described as between 27 and 31 years of age, white, 5’7’’ in height, medium build with short dark hair and a pale complexion with gaunt cheeks and stubble on his face. He is also described as having a yellow/stained tooth on the upper left side of his mouth.
